Our consumer business client is seeking a Network Engineer (5+ years) to configure and support WAN and LAN network infrastructure using Cisco and Juniper platforms- 30667

Location: Mississauga- 5 days in office (9am-5pm) - Occasional On call support/overnight Project Work.

Duration: ASAP to 01/31/2027 (Chance of Extension)

Join a large-scale network infrastructure environment supporting over 430 sites across stores and distribution centers. This role focuses on network design, configuration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades across WAN and LAN domains using Cisco and Juniper technologies. The position collaborates with global peers and vendor partners to support network operations, platform roadmaps, and long-term infrastructure planning driven by analytics and monitoring data.

Must Haves

• 5+ years supporting and configuring WAN and LAN network infrastructure
• Hands-on work with Cisco and Juniper platforms including routers and switches
• Configuration and troubleshooting of BGP , OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols
• Knowledge of Network Security concepts, components, and architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electronic engineering

Nice to Have

• CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIE certification
• WiFi support and troubleshooting experience
• Programming or scripting experience
• Knowledge of server and workstation operating systems

Responsibilities

• Configure switches, routers, access points, and firewalls across over 430 sites
• Upgrade existing network hardware and implement new network functionalities
• Participate in troubleshooting sessions with internal teams and vendor partners
• Contact associates in stores and distribution centers regarding network activities
• Open support tickets with equipment manufacturers and ISPs
• Monitor and troubleshoot network systems to improve performance
• Perform data backups and implement network data security systems
