We're hiring for a Human Resources Manager for a 12–14-month contract. As a member of the Store Support Centre, we offer an inclusive and collaborative work environment where you will be empowered to make a meaningful impact in your role. This position is based out in Mississauga, ON (hybrid work model, 3 days in the office, two days work from home).

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate the resolution of associate concerns
  • Conduct workplace investigations
  • Lead the field annual performance appraisal and merit process
  • Provide field leaders with performance management guidance
  • Act as an HR advisor and resource on employment matters
  • Support with general human resources administration
  • Respond to incoming human resources inquiries

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 7+ years HR generalist experience preferably in a fast paced, multi-unit retail environment
  • 7+ years experience working with provincial employment legislation and employment standards
  • Solid interpersonal, mediation and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience using "workday" (or similar Human Capital Management System)
  • Familiar with benefits administration, Workers' Compensation
  • Working towards CHRP/CHRL designation
