This hands-on role is ideal for those looking to contribute positively to waste management and environmental protection. Key Responsibilities:
- Process chemical waste following regulatory requirements
- Collect and document samples from waste streams
- Safely package and sort hazardous materials
- Operate equipment including forklifts and shredders
- Maintain records and complete necessary documentation
- 2-4 years experience in waste management or related fields
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable, team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Valid Ontario driver's license required
