We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our recruitment team and support a large enterprise banking client through an MSP (Managed Service Provider) program. This is a fast-paced, high-volume technical recruiting environment where priorities can change quickly, turnaround times are short, and recruiters are expected to take ownership of their requisitions from start to finish. This role is well suited to a recruiter who enjoys working at a fast pace, is highly motivated by results, understands technical talent, and can operate independently without constant supervision. What You'll Be Doing: As an Technical Recruiter, you will manage the recruitment lifecycle for IT professionals and work closely with our internal team, candidates, and client stakeholders. You will be responsible for: Reviewing and analyzing technical job requisitions to understand the client's requirements, priorities, and candidate profile. Asking targeted questions to clarify requirements and identify what is truly mandatory versus preferred. Managing multiple active technical requisitions simultaneously and prioritizing work based on client deadlines and business needs. Sourcing qualified IT professionals through LinkedIn, resume databases, job boards, networking, referrals, internal databases, and other channels. Developing effective Boolean and keyword search strategies for technical roles. Researching unfamiliar technologies and understanding technical terminology sufficiently to assess candidate fit. Conducting initial technical and behavioural screening of candidates. Assessing candidates against technical requirements, experience, location, availability, rate, and other client criteria. Completing candidate skills matrices and ensuring candidate information is accurate and complete. Validating technical experience rather than relying solely on resume keywords. Negotiating rates and managing candidate expectations. Obtaining Right to Represent and other required candidate documentation. Ranking and submitting the strongest candidates to the MSP/client within required timelines. Preparing candidates for interviews and coordinating interview scheduling. Maintaining accurate and timely records within recruiting and applicant tracking systems. Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of technical talent for current and anticipated requirements. Supporting candidate onboarding and maintaining communication throughout the recruitment process. Following up proactively with candidates, internal stakeholders, and client/MSP contacts to keep requirements moving forward. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter. Performance expectations: securing many candidates per day, that consistently lead to interviews & job offers. Demonstrated experience recruiting technical IT professionals across a broad range of technologies and roles. Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, applicant tracking systems, social media, networking, referrals, and other sourcing channels. Strong understanding of the technical recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, qualification, candidate management, negotiation, submission, interview coordination, and onboarding. Ability to understand technical job requirements and assess whether a candidate's experience genuinely aligns with those requirements. Strong sourcing and research skills, including the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies and terminology. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously. Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines.
