About the job you’re considering:

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Network Platform Engineer to build and operate large-scale cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes networking, AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, and observability, with a passion for performance, automation, and reliability.

Your role:

• Design and manage AWS networking (VPCs, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, DNS Firewalls)
• Configure, operate, and scale Kubernetes clusters
• Implement and optimize Cilium, CNIs, Egress Gateway, and Network Policies
• Build reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure deployment
• Performance test and tune Kubernetes-native networking components
• Build monitoring and alerting solutions using Grafana & Prometheus
• Collaborate with platform, SRE, security, and engineering teams

Must have skills:

• Strong Kubernetes administration and networking experience
• Deep knowledge of AWS networking services
• Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise
• Experience with Cilium and Kubernetes Network Policies
• Golang development experience is a plus
• Experience with the Grafana and Prometheus observability stack is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills mandatory

Nice to Have:

• Amazon EKS
• Advanced eBPF/Cilium advanced networking
• ArgoCD or Flux (GitOps)
• CKA/CKS certifications
• AWS Networking or Solutions Architect certifications
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: CAD 68,874 - CAD 147,504
