Support individuals in career transitions as a Career Development Practitioner at Career Development Services in Montague, Prince Edward Island. Provide essential coaching in job searches, resume building, and networking. CDS is seeking a full-time Career Development Practitioner to assist clients across Prince Edward Island. This role involves delivering one-on-one support, conducting group workshops, and managing client case needs. You will help clients navigate funding programs and teach vital employment skills to foster successful job placements. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with resume development and job search techniques
- Provide timely case management for funding access
- Develop and facilitate group workshops and information sessions
- Conduct labour market research for informed guidance
- Establish positive relationships with diverse clients
- Undergraduate degree or related diploma (e.g., Human Services)
- Relevant work experience is an advantage
- Microsoft 365 and database management skills
- Ability to work well with internal and external teams
- Satisfactory criminal record check required
