We are looking for a Senior AV Production Technician. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, adaptable, and capable of performing under pressure while supporting senior executives, presenters, and event stakeholders.

Work Location: Brampton - onsite

Key Responsibilities

Event Preparation & System Readiness

  • Review event requirements, run-of-show documents, and client expectations
  • Configure, test, and validate all audio, video, streaming, presentation, and networking systems prior to event start
  • Verify equipment functionality, software updates, content readiness, and signal routing across all event platforms
  • Coordinate rehearsals and presenter testing for both onsite and remote participants

Live Event Production

  • Operate and support corporate town halls, executive presentations, conferences, hybrid meetings, virtual events, and special productions
  • Execute live video switching, audio routing, presentation management, webcast production, and audience engagement elements
  • Monitor event quality across in-room, presenter, webcast, and recording outputs
  • Manage production cues, content playback, graphics, and event transitions in accordance with the run-of-show

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve audio, video, streaming, presentation, software, hardware, and network issues before and during live events
  • Quickly identify root causes and implement solutions with minimal disruption to presenters and attendees
  • Maintain backup workflows and contingency plans to ensure event continuity
  • Remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in high-pressure environments

Client & Presenter Support

  • Serve as a primary technical contact for presenters, event organizers, and business stakeholders
  • Provide professional support to senior leaders and executive presenters
  • Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Accommodate last-minute event changes while maintaining production quality and client confidence

  • o PiP layouts, Multi-box presenter views, Lower thirds, Title graphics, Video playback management, TEAMS vs vMix-Call workflows

Video Systems

  • Video switching, routing, & TV Signage
  • PTZ and broadcast cameras
  • Video walls, displays, and projection systems
  • HDMI and SDI signal distribution
  • NDI workflows
  • Wireless microphone systems
  • Audio routing, mixing, and signal flow
  • VoIP Encoders and decoders
  • Network troubleshooting and AV system integration
  • Firmware, driver, and software maintenance
