Become a key player at Toronto Children's School of the Arts as a Montessori Teacher for Elementary Grades 1-3. You will be tasked with delivering lessons, assessing student progress through portfolios, and fostering independence in a collaborative setting. Your role significantly contributes to the holistic development of each child. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons based on Montessori pedagogy
- Document and assess student progress systematically
- Prepare a beautiful and orderly classroom setting
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues for student support
- Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers
- Montessori Elementary Diploma from a recognized institution
- Bachelor of Education and current Ontario teaching certification
- Minimum 2 years' teaching experience, ideally in Montessori
- Strong communication skills for effective student engagement
- Bilingualism in French is an asset
