Lead initiatives at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (IKBLC) as the Head of Programs and Services. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing user experience with diverse educational offerings and community engagement.
As the Head of IKBLC Programs and Services at UBC Library, you will oversee the delivery of innovative services and programs. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including community organizations and university units, you'll enhance lifelong learning across British Columbia. This role combines strategic leadership, team management, and operational oversight within a respected academic library setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee development and management of IKBLC programs
• Foster relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Manage staff and budgets effectively
• Engage in policy development and long-term planning
• Ensure programs align with IKBLC's mission and principles
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Library or Information Science
• Minimum six years in program management
• Strong communication skills and team leadership
• Experience with digital platforms and community engagement
