Be a key legal advisor at BGCFS as a Legal Counsel based in Owen Sound/Walkerton. This role involves critical legal representation and consultation in child welfare. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and represent cases in all judicial levels
- Draft legal documents and advise on child welfare issues
- Build relationships with stakeholders and community partners
- Conduct training sessions on legislative matters
- Document and manage ongoing legal activities
- Bachelor's degree in law with successful bar admission
- 1-2 years’ experience in relevant legal environments
- Membership in the Law Society of Ontario
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and valid Ontario Driver’s License
