Shape the future of technology at Vantage as a Staff Engineer. Lead technical strategy, manage initiatives, and mentor teams in a dynamic, remote-first environment. As a Staff Engineer at Vantage, you'll drive the technical roadmap across multiple teams. Your hands-on approach and extensive experience will help ensure ambitious projects are completed on time while managing technical debt effectively. You will work closely with peers and senior leadership to secure buy-in and create sustainable architectural solutions that span the whole stack. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement major technical initiatives across teams
- Provide architectural direction aligning short-term delivery and long-term goals
- Manage technical debt and build business cases for prioritization
- Facilitate alignment through Architecture Office Hours and internal talks
- Mentor engineers and create growth opportunities for team members
- 9+ years in software development, testing, and architecture
- Deep knowledge of frontend, backend, and data systems
- Proven track record of owning multi-quarter technical roadmaps
- Experience with B2B API integrations and developer tooling
- Strong expertise in Python and Django for production services
