Become an Accounting Analyst at Walter Capital Management located in Westmount, Montréal. This full-time position focuses on detailed accounting processes and collaborative team efforts. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Projects, you will oversee the full accounting cycle while enhancing process improvements within the finance department. Ideal candidates come with 3-5 years of accounting experience and excellent proficiency in financial software. Your contributions will be vital to managing investment fund accounting effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute full-cycle accounting for partnerships and entities
- Assist with fund accounting, cash flow movements, and valuations
- Ensure accurate financial records and cap table management
- Facilitate invoicing processes and receivable tracking
- Contribute to month-end closes and financial statements
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, particularly in investment
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and ASPE
- Strong Excel skills, particularly with extensive data
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
