Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Insulators to support insulation scopes on our project in Abbotsford, BC. Wage: $27.74-$46.23 per hour Travel: Insulators are responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing a variety of insulation systems in industrial environments. Apprentices will work under the supervision of Journeypersons and Forepersons while developing trade skills. Install, remove, and repair insulation systems on piping, equipment, and vessels Work with a variety of insulation systems including: Hot and cold insulation, Cryogenic insulation systems, Acoustic insulation, Fireproofing applications, Removable insulation systems (blankets and covers), Cladding and weatherproofing systems Assist with material handling, preparation, and installation activities (Apprentice level) Ensure proper material selection, thickness, and installation methods are followed Work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in active industrial environments Follow all site safety requirements, FLRAs, and hazard assessments Support quality control requirements and minimize rework Valid Journeyperson Certificate or Apprentice Certificate Experience on major industrial project sites
