Seeking a Data Engineer specializing in backend API development in Toronto, ON. This contract role focuses on the creation of internal APIs crucial for enterprise data integration, emphasizing REST and event-driven architectures. To qualify, candidates must be PR or citizens residing in Canada for at least five years. You will design and construct APIs that ensure data integrity and reliability while integrating with databases and other systems. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to maintain alignment on API contracts and technical documentation for smooth knowledge transfer. Key Responsibilities:
