As part of Lifemark’s Technology & Analytics transformation, we are building a modern product management function focused on enabling operational excellence, scalable growth, and exceptional clinician and patient experiences through technology-enabled workflows and platforms.
The Senior Product Manager, Referral Management will own the strategy and execution of the Referral Management and Orchestration lifecycle, from referral intake and triage through to care delivery. Reporting to the Director, Products and Platforms, you will drive smarter, faster referral routing, ensuring patients are connected to the right care across clinic networks, while improving conversion, retention, and the overall referral experience. Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for Referral Management and Orchestration lifecycle, driving automation across the triage and referral process to improve routing accuracy, reduce manual effort, and accelerate patient access to care.
Partner with business and operational leaders to identify opportunities to improve referral workflows, productivity, service delivery, and the overall referral experience.
Translate clinical and operational pain points across the referral journey into a prioritized, outcome-driven roadmap tied to conversion, retention, and network performance.
Build relationships with clinical stakeholders, referral channel leads, and care coordination managers to deeply understand referral workflows, capacity constraints, and unmet needs.
Serve as the primary product liaison between business leaders and delivery teams, translating strategy into actionable requirements.
Lead cross-functional alignment sessions, steering committees, and executive briefings on product direction, roadmap progress, and value delivery.
Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Analytics, and Project Delivery teams to execute roadmap initiatives.
Partner with implementation, and Clinical Operations teams on go-to-market planning to ensure seamless rollouts.
Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and scope trade-offs without compromising product integrity.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
Drive standardization of referral and triage workflows, reduction of manual processes, and strengthening of system controls across the referral network.
Measure and monitor product performance, adoption, operational KPIs, and value realization.
Governance, Compliance & Risk
Maintain audit-ready documentation of product decisions, feature changes, and referral data flows.
Lead and support change management, training, and adoption activities for new capabilities and workflows.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI-assisted capabilities and automation into the referral workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and elevate the user experience.
Partner with Data and Engineering teams to define model requirements, success metrics, and responsible AI guardrails.
5-7+years in product management, with at least 2-3 years in a healthcare technology environment.
~ Experience working with practice management systems, EMRs, referrals, scheduling, or operational healthcare workflows.
~ Strong understanding of clinic operations and a track record of driving operational process optimization.
~ Ability to synthesize clinical, operational, and technical inputs into clear strategies and well-scoped requirements.
~ Strong analytical mindset with comfort using data to drive prioritization and communicate product impact.
~ Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skillsacross clinical and technical audiences.
~ Experience in Agile product delivery environments.
~ Healthcare, rehabilitation, or multi-site operational experience is considered an asset.
~ Experience with AI-enabled workflows, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives is considered an asset.
