Lamarche Electric Inc. is seeking a qualified Electrical Design Coordinator for their Rockland, Ontario location. In this senior position, you will focus on BIM integration and electrical installation coordination. As a key player within the team, you'll ensure that design and construction aspects are seamlessly connected. Your role emphasizes resolving design discrepancies before they arise in the field, requiring a deep understanding of electrical systems and practical installation methods. Key Responsibilities:
- Review electrical drawings and identify coordination requirements
- Coordinate electrical installations through BIM processes
- Prepare detailed installation drawings for field teams
- Collaborate with project management and field staff to solve issues
- Monitor revisions and ensure accurate documentation
- Minimum of 5 years in electrical design or construction
- Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Familiarity with estimating tools considered an asset
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
