Elevate your finance career this summer as a Public Equities Intern with AIMCo. Join the External Partnerships team to gain hands-on experience in assessing hedge funds and investment strategies. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to both Canadian and global equity markets. You will assist in developing reports and tools to optimize portfolio management and collaborate with experts on quantitative models for portfolio construction. Your contributions will be key in monitoring investments while deepening your understanding of the investment process in a global firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop reports and tools for portfolio managers
- Assess and monitor externally-managed investments
- Research and develop quantitative models
- Collaborate with team members on daily operations
- Pursuing a degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge in investment management
- Interest in CFA designation is a plus
- Experience with Python or Bloomberg is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
