Position Overview

This is a results-oriented advisory role focusedon building and growing a client portfolio across life insurance andwealth/investment solutions throughout Ontario.

The successful candidate will operatefrom a Burlington-based office while serving clients across the province. Thisopportunity is best suited to a licensed advisor who brings an existing clientbase or a strong network and is looking to further grow their practice withinan established platform. Success in this rolerequires a proactive, self-driven approach to building client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, service, and grow a book of business acrosslife insurance and wealth/investment products
  • Provide life insurance solutions based on client needsand financial goals
  • Develop and expand wealth/investment business throughsegregated funds and mutual fund products
  • Actively build new client relationships throughproactive prospecting, outreach, and networking
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additionalfinancial and insurance solutions based on client needs
  • Deliver holistic, needs-based financial advice acrossinsurance and investment solutions
  • Conduct regular client reviews and maintain ongoingclient relationships
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timelyand professional manner
  • Achieve individual sales and growth targets whilecontributing to overall business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, anddealer requirements

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in insurance, wealth management, or a related advisory role
  • Mutual Fund Licence (IFIC) or equivalent - active and in good standing

Preferred

  • Life Insurance Licence (LLQP) or equivalent - active and in good standing
  • Existing book of business, ideally in the $5M- $6M range in investment or prior experience of building a book of business from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow a client portfolio through personal or professional networks
  • Proven track record of consistent client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Bachelor's degree (business, finance, or related field preferred)

  • Base Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 CAD annually
  • Variable Compensation: Approximately $130,000 CAD (Guaranteed Bonus + Commissions)
  • Vacation: 2 weeks annually
  • Statutory Holidays and Paid leaves
  • Benefits include statutory employer contributions

Work Arrangement

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility: Hybrid work options may beconsidered for the right candidate
