The Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or collisions. This includes inspecting and evaluating damage, removing and replacing damaged parts, repairing dents, refinishing surfaces, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards. A licensed technician that is capable of doing frame work, big and small repairs and does everything using OEM procedures.
Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles
Mask and tape, prime and paint body surfaces, using tools such as paint spray guns and motorized sanders
Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job
Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset
Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses
Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively
I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assets
