Overview
Locally Owned & Operated Ford Dealership seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with inquiries, and supporting sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive dealership environments, possess mechanical knowledge, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This position offers an engaging work environment where customer satisfaction and product knowledge are prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the mechanics to ensure timely service delivery
- Provide detailed explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance services
- Prepare repair orders, estimates and invoices with precision
- Handle POS transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in dealership or fast paced environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships
- Experience with cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Valid drivers license
