As a key team member, you will perform essential laboratory functions, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure timely reporting of results. Your expertise will aid in the ready identification of test abnormalities and in training new staff. Participation in quality assurance activities and adherence to safety protocols are critical. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-analytical and post-analytical haematology functions
- Identify and manage abnormalities in laboratory results
- Carry out equipment maintenance and calibration
- Engage in training and development for staff and students
- Participate in the writing and updating of SOPS
- Registration with CMLTO specific to Haematology
- Minimum two years of recent lab experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- Strong interpersonal skills and independent work ability
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights
