(SEDCC) invites you to step into the role of Buyer, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our inventory strategies and fostering strong vendor relationships. As a Buyer, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver excellence to our customers while enjoying a supportive team environment and numerous growth opportunities. Utilize cutting-edge purchasing methodologies to drive daily decisions, ensuring optimal inventory levels and maximizing fill rates. Spearhead data analysis efforts to identify industry and consumer trends, guiding long-term development strategies for product categories. Cultivate and nurture trusted relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing and enhance service quality for SEDCC and our valued customers. Champion product data integrity while devising effective exit strategies for underperforming products, ensuring our inventory remains dynamic and profitable. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the department. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Proven negotiating skills coupled with a comprehensive understanding of industry-standard software platforms.
