Xylem is looking for an Entry-Level Field Service Technician passionate about sustainable water solutions. This position includes troubleshooting and maintaining wastewater pumps at customer locations. As a Field Service Technician Level 1, you'll be responsible for hands-on technical tasks, including maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. This team-oriented role provides the opportunity to interact with customers while you ensure all technical operations are performed to high standards. Bring your critical thinking skills and eagerness to tackle tangible water challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and maintain wastewater pumps effectively
- Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical panels
- Assist with project start-ups at various sites
- Operate service trucks and maintain equipment
- Follow safety precautions and keep records
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 0 to 2 years of technical work experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills necessary
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting capabilities
