Description: Seaford Pharmaceuticals is a proud Canadian company founded in 1991 by the Seales family, dedicated to developing and marketing specialty healthcare solutions to Canadians and abroad.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Brand Manager to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of assigned brands, with a focus on sustainable growth, market performance and successful lifecycle management.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the strategic and executional sides of brand management. You will turn market, customer and field insights into clear commercial priorities, lead brand planning and promotional initiatives, monitor performance and work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, Medical and Market Access to bring plans to life.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your brands, influence commercial decisions and lead key launches, transitions and growth initiatives from strategy through execution.

This is a full-time in-office role located at our office in Mississauga.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of annual brand plans, including positioning, strategic priorities, objectives, KPIs, budgets and execution plans
  • Translate market, customer, competitive and field insights into strategies, campaigns and initiatives that drive brand growth and differentiation
  • Lead product launches, brand transitions and other key lifecycle initiatives, ensuring milestones, timelines and stakeholders remain aligned
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and forecasts, identify trends and business drivers and recommend actions to improve performance
  • Lead brand forecasting in partnership with Sales, Finance and Operations to align commercial demand with inventory and distribution requirements
  • Partner closely with Sales on customer targeting, brand positioning, field tools, training and objection handling
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, access environment and emerging market opportunities
  • Develop and oversee promotional, digital and educational initiatives and materials
  • Lead cross-functional brand execution across Sales, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, Medical and Market Access
  • Manage annual brand budgets, monitor spend and evaluate the return on investment of key initiatives
  • Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring deliverables meet brand objectives, timelines, budgets and quality standards
  • Ensure all brand activities meet applicable regulatory, promotional and internal governance requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related field; an advanced degree is an asset
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in brand management, marketing or commercial roles, preferably within a regulated industry
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing brand plans and leading product launches or lifecycle initiatives
  • Strong experience with sales performance analysis, forecasting, budget management and cross-functional commercial planning
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen with the ability to turn strategy into focused execution
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, market and performance data and translate insights into action
  • Strong project management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Effective communication, presentation and influencing skills, including confidence working with field teams and senior leadership
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of promotional review, regulatory requirements and compliance expectations within a regulated environment
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, digital initiatives and brand budgets
