Become a vital part of EB Horsman & Son as a Material Handler based in Terrace, BC. This full-time role focuses on shipping, receiving, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. As a Material Handler, you will support inventory management by efficiently moving products and assisting sales staff with stock inquiries. Your responsibilities encompass order assembly, packing and shipping, and conducting cycle counts. This role is crucial for enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth operations at our branch. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate pick tickets and assemble orders promptly
- Pack, weigh, and label shipments accurately
- Unload, inspect, and verify incoming stock
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse
- Assist sales staff with stock availability inquiries
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
