Join McKesson's mission as a Senior Transportation Associate to support efficient logistics and enhance product delivery across Canada. Your role will focus on managing transportation activities and streamlining processes. This position requires a strong background in logistics and an analytical approach to problem-solving. You'll be responsible for coordinating shipments and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Partnerships with various teams will be vital to optimizing service, thus improving our overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation operations including scheduling and tracking
- Monitor and resolve service issues with carriers
- Work alongside customer service and supply chain teams
- Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for performance analysis
- Assess and implement cost-effective transportation strategies
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong communication and customer-oriented attitude
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Familiarity with freight documentation and compliance
