Join Johnson Service Group as a Senior Application Support & Systems Engineer in Toronto. This hybrid role requires strong GCP, GKE/Kubernetes, and CI/CD skills for production support. In this contract position, you will support a leading retail company, focusing on GCP and application reliability. Your expertise in Kubernetes and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus is essential for effective monitoring and incident resolution. You will collaborate with the team to ensure smooth production deployments and troubleshoot complex issues as they arise. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application support and incident management for production environments
- Implement observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, and similar tools
- Support GKE/Kubernetes applications with troubleshooting expertise
- Manage CI/CD processes with Jenkins for application deployments
- Diagnose performance issues in distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in production
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, incident triage, and resolution
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud applications
- Exposure to large-scale retail or eCommerce platforms is a plus
