Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Corporate Accountant to join its growing team. The corporate accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, and providing financial analysis to support business decision-making. The successful candidate will report to the manager corporate accounting.

Opportunities to participate in social club activities and events:
Company-wide social events
Community volunteer opportunities
Complete account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Prepare and support regulatory filings
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Support external and internal audit requests
Undergraduate degree from a recognized educational institution
~ A professional accounting designation (CPA)
~ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and financial modeling).
~3 – 5 years of related experience in financial accounting
~ Experience in accounting and IFRS best practices
~ Proven ability to communicate orally and in writing
~ Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team
~ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics considered an asset
