Assess collision damage across Edmonton as an Auto Field Appraiser, using Audatex, Mitchell, and digital evaluation systems. This position offers hybrid work arrangements.
Intact is hiring an Auto Field Appraiser for the Edmonton area. You will examine vehicles, determine accident damage, and assess repair estimates for claims adjusters. The role requires collision repair experience, analytical ability, and clear communication with repair shops and claims teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine vehicles using a software application
- Determine accident damage causes and origins
- Assess and approve repair estimates for claims adjusters
- Use automated systems to standardize repair estimates
- Communicate best repair practices and procedures
Requirements:
- Three to five years of collision repair industry experience
- Knowledge of Audatex and Mitchell estimating software
- Automobile physical damage repair principles and techniques
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- College diploma, university degree, or equivalent experience
