Home Quality Assurance Supervisor, Sterling Homes Full Time Supervisory-PR Calgary, AB, CA Title: Home Quality Assurance Supervisor At Sterling Homes, our people make the difference. Reporting to the Construction Manager, as the Home Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will oversee daily Quality Control operations and Walkthrough Orientations. You will also develop, monitor and manage quality control processes to ensure homes are delivered to Sterling Homes’ quality standards while acting as a key point of contact between homeowners and the Construction Team. Conducting Quality Control Inspections prior to insulation and Walkthrough Orientation. Identifying critical control points and preventive measures to support the design and implementation of Quality Control plans. Interpreting construction drawings, interior design specifications and shop drawings to support quality outcomes. Collaborating with site staff, trades and production teams to review inspection results, develop corrective actions and resolve deficiencies. Coordinating the quality assurance program with construction, warranty and design departments. Evaluating existing procedures and conducting internal audits to ensure quality standards are effectively implemented. Compiling, analyzing and summarizing industry trends, past processes, corrective actions and re-validations to prepare quality documentation and reports. Responding to homeowner enquiries with a focus on the customer experience. A creative thinker; you identify new ideas, techniques and opportunities to improve performance and productivity. you develop and improve the skills of others through effective coaching and guidance. A creative problem solver; High School Diploma, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of Site Supervision or Field experience in the residential construction industry; or minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in the residential construction industry. Knowledge of building codes and requirements, as well as varying techniques for different construction procedures. Satisfactory verification of criminal record check. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint), Site Docs and BuildPro. Consistently meeting customer expectations. Staying current on technical job skills. You primarily work on site during regular business hours. Travel to the regional office or other site locations is required. Overtime may occasionally be required.
