About You: You are a Creative Director who bridges studio-level creative leadership and operational excellence with a strategic, externally facing, mentorship-oriented role. You are passionate about visual storytelling and bring a history of directing projects with exceptional polish and complexity. As a conceptual thinker, you leverage both technical and aesthetic expertise across multiple projects, guiding teams toward innovative outcomes. In this role, you focus on building lasting client relationships, developing talent, and future-proofing creative systems; shaping a culture of excellence and vision rather than managing day-to-day production logistics. The Opportunity: Be a key stakeholder in our new business pitches alongside an Executive Producer, bringing a dynamic, client-facing presence that helps shape the narrative and create excitement in the room. Be hands on with pitch asset creation and other supporting materials, providing insights into resource casting and budgets to support realistic and creative solutions. Make space for the Director and Producer to be hands-on in the leadership of their productions, while remaining engaged and available for guidance. Provide inspiration and insight, ensuring that Tendril's high creative standards are maintained throughout the production process. Mentor and grow our Directors and Senior Artists by providing inspiring and empowering feedback that builds confidence and skills both on and off the box, facilitating the transfer of knowledge, skills, and expertise to evolve the next generation of leaders under your guidance. Oversee Directors across multiple productions, acting as a creative sounding board as they lead the daily workflow and integrate client feedback. Pursue endless boundary-pushing opportunities, striving to acquire new skills related to software, animation, and design. Infuse your work with knowledge of current trends in areas including AI, typography, fashion, architecture, and contemporary art. Act as a thought leader for the creative team, leading workshops and skill-building sessions to develop the skills of the artists.
