Job Title: Licensed Assistant II Location: Onsite – 55 Metcalfe Street, Suite 910, Ottawa, ON Work Model: In-Office (5 days/week) Start Date: February 10, 2026 Contract Duration: Until September 13, 2027 (Maternity Leave Coverage) Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract About the Role We are seeking a Licensed Assistant II to support corporate advisors within a fast-paced wealth management environment. This role blends client service, administrative support, compliance, and account management , offering strong exposure to financial planning and investment operations. Key Responsibilities Client Support Act as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in person Assist with account maintenance, client updates, and transaction processing Schedule and coordinate client meetings and prepare related documentation Administrative & Operations Manage advisor calendars, meetings, and correspondence Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems Prepare client reports, statements, and presentations Compliance & Documentation Ensure documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards Assist with audits and regulatory reviews Stay informed of regulatory updates Account & Financial Planning Support Process account openings, transfers, and trade orders under advisor direction Assist with financial plans, portfolio reviews, and investment proposals Gather and organize financial data and reports Team Collaboration Work closely with advisors, compliance, and operations teams Provide backup support to administrative staff as needed Required Qualifications Mandatory securities licenses: CSC, CPH, and WME (or equivalents) 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within financial services or wealth management Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills High attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated environment Nice to Have Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Exposure to Power BI or reporting tools Knowledge of financial terminology and investment concepts t
