Plan inclusive youth programs in Waterloo Region using leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the YMCA of Three Rivers. Full-time hours include afternoons and evenings.
The Youth Engagement Worker supports programs for youth ages 13 to 24. This position plans, promotes, leads, and facilitates activities supporting wellbeing, personal development, and leadership. It also develops programming with youth and the Youth Centre Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, promote, lead, and facilitate youth programs
- Support daily operations, supplies, statistics, and reporting
- Develop events, resources, and activities with youth
- Build relationships with YMCA partners and community organizations
- Maintain safe, inclusive, and engaging program spaces
Requirements:
- Three to five years working with youth ages 13 to 24
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Office and Access knowledge
- Program planning and direct facilitation experience
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
