We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values - driven individual to join our dynamic team as an HR Operations Analyst. In this position, you will be responsible for data entry, auditing, filing, maintaining process documentation, and safeguarding the integrity of employee and contractor data. You will also help troubleshoot and resolve import and integration issues to support seamless and accurate data exchange across HR systems and applications , including Microsoft Dynamics 365 , SAP SuccessFactors, Active Directory reporting, organizational charts , and ServiceNow HR catalogue items .
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy, security, and compliance of HR data, such as employee records and payroll information, and perform audits.
- Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for users, as well as train HR professionals on how to use the system effectively.
- Analyze HR workflows and use the HRIS to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Extract and analyze HR data to create reports, identify trends, and provide insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and Payroll to align HR systems with business requirements , operational processes, and projects.
Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is an asset.
- Minimum of one year of progressive experience in HR operations, systems administration, data management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of an HRIS or equivalent business system.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and OrgPlus are assets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications , including Excel, Word, and Outlook .
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues, analyze data, and develop solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise diplomacy and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- A track record of delivering high-quality work, managing competing priorities, and supporting key business processes or operational functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels across the organization.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly, respectfully, and professionally.
- Proven organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, multitask, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
