Embark on an impactful investigative career with Service Alberta We are seeking a Level I Investigator in Edmonton to help ensure consumer protection and compliance. This full-time role within the Consumer Investigations Unit allows you to conduct vital investigations and collaborate with law enforcement and other stakeholders. As you tackle lower-complexity cases, you'll hone your skills in analysis, communication, and enforcement actions. Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate cases related to theft and fraud
- Interview individuals involved in complaints
- Prepare and serve legal documents
- Recommend enforcement actions when necessary
- Liaise with Crown Prosecutors for court proceedings
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields like Criminology
- Basic investigative process knowledge
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Commitment to obtain Peace Officer status
- Professional demeanor and integrity in all interactions
