Join a vibrant architectural firm as an Electrical Design Engineer, focusing on high-quality residential and commercial building electrical systems. This role is integral for the design, coordination, and documentation of electrical systems in both new constructions and renovations. Your expertise will enable efficient, code-compliant electrical designs while partnering with architects and engineers. A strong communication skill set and teamwork ethos are essential as you tackle diverse projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for varied building types
- Create electrical drawings and specifications in AutoCAD/Revit
- Conduct load calculations and lighting design
- Ensure compliance with OBC, OESC, and CSA standards
- Collaborate with project teams and conduct site visits
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of building electrical design experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus
- Familiar with Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- EIT or P.Eng. designation preferred
