PROJECT MANAGER, AMERICAS IT PORTFOLIO TEAM: On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager, Americas IT Portfolio Team for a permanent role. This position is remote, located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

PROJECT MANAGER, AMERICAS IT PORTFOLIO TEAM – Job Description

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT projects within the Corporate Real Estate function. This includes managing office buildouts, relocations, and infrastructure refreshes to align with the company’s strategic objectives. The role requires coordination across various teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including office buildouts and infrastructure refreshes
  • Manage and coordinate IT scope with construction and project timelines
  • Ensure timely and accurate communications with project stakeholders
  • Track changes in scope and obtain approvals for additional time and costs
  • Manage expectations and outcomes driven by multiple teams and vendors
  • Establish and manage project plans and readiness reviews
  • Drive risk identification and mitigation
  • Ensure adherence to global IT standards for workplace technology
  • Develop and track project budgets and cost estimation models

Mandatory Skills

  • A relevant program/project management qualification (e.g., PMI-PMP) or 10+ years of project management experience
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v4 Foundation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project or similar project scheduling tools
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Certification in ITIL Service Strategy, Service Design, or related areas
  • Experience with project management governance frameworks
  • Written and spoken French or Spanish language skills
  • Experience with Office 365
  • Ability to unblock complex problems
