Take charge of emergency veterinary services as an ER Manager at Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Lead teams while ensuring operational efficiency and excellent patient care. In this full-time role, you will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with various hospital leaders. With a minimum of three years of experience managing multidisciplinary teams, you'll drive change initiatives and enhance service quality while managing budgets effectively. Your leadership will ensure the highest standards of care and client service. Key Responsibilities:
- Support operations including staffing, budgeting, and recruitment
- Oversee department standards for patient care
- Lead initiatives for positive organizational change
- Mentor and develop team members effectively
- Monitor productivity and maintain staffing levels
- Minimum 3 years in a management role
- Experience in budget management and resource optimization
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven adaptability in dynamic environments
- Ability to develop and retain high-performing staff
