We’ve opened a role in our Timmins or Sudbury offices for a talented, entrepreneurial Senior Electrical Engineer to work alongside exceptional people in JLR’s Electrical group.
Are you a resourceful, dynamic, and driven Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in heavy industrial or mining environments? Do you thrive on building strong relationships with mining and industrial clients and leaders as well as your local community? Your Role as a Senior Electrical Professional: As a Senior Electrical Professional, your role will include: Designing, internal coordination, project management, and contract administration during construction of industrial/mining type projects, from concept through to completion. Leveraging your specialized electrical experience in industrial infrastructure/processes and/or mining markets. Assisting with the management of workload to ensure that project deadlines are met and final deliverables align with client expectations. Applying electrical fundamentals, including the application and verification of related software tools. Preparing accurate, clearly written, and well‑organised technical reports. Mentoring junior engineers, engineering graduates, and technologists. Working and collaborating with an established, integrated technical team of engineers, technologists and support staff on multidisciplinary projects.
