Maintenance Technician Department: Facilities and Construction

GTA West and Surrounding Areas, ON Type of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours) Reason for Posting: Existing Vacancy (5 positions)
Salary:
$50,000
- $60,000 CAD per year We are currently hiring for Maintenance Technicians to join our Central Canada Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Technician will maintain store operations. In this role you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance primarily on Frozen Beverage Equipment, repairing Convenience Store equipment and general maintenance work in stores. Primary daily function) Perform Preventative Maintenance on Frozen Beverage units. ~ Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance. ~ Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting work. ~ Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment. ~ Ensures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures. ~ Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; Maintains safe and healthy work environment by abiding to safety policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements. ~ Majority of time will be spent in the field. ~ May require some travel including overnight stay.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred. ~
Experience:
