Become a key player in health and safety at Peak Construction Group as a Senior HSE Professional for Eastern Canada. As the Senior HSE Professional, you'll leverage over seven years of experience in the construction industry to lead safety programs and coaching efforts. Your role will involve maintaining the Safety Management System, guiding teams, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a culture focused on safety excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and standardize the Safety Management System company-wide
- Provide expert support to Project Teams for safety compliance and documentation
- Direct and analyze incident investigations and root cause analyses
- Oversee and enhance safety training and competency initiatives
- Audit and report safety metrics for leadership
- 7+ years of HSE experience in high-risk construction fields
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety with recognized certification
- CSO/NCSO completion with practical construction experience
- Preferred safety designations (CRSP, CSP, CHSC)
- Expertise in Canadian OHS and OSHA standards
