Full-Time Officially established in 1995, but with historical roots dating back to 1971, we know a thing or two about how to deliver beer. BDL is a private joint venture company owned by Labatt Breweries of Canada and Molson Coors Breweries that provides wholesale distribution of beer and the collection of returnable, refillable and recyclable beer containers within the four Western Canadian Provinces, Northwest Territories and the Yukon. We’re leaders in providing a healthy and safe working environment, and a role model in environmental leadership with the goal to continuously preserve our planet We are currently searching for reliable and dedicated Warehouse Workers/Driver Helpers for vacancies at our Calgary Distribution Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine both warehouse and driving duties, gaining practical experience supporting delivery operations. These vacancies are unionized, full-time opportunities with up to 40 hours a week (overtime may occur). On-site at the Calgary Distribution Centre Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product, sorting empties of cans/bottles and crushing cans Maintain service quality by following organizations standards Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met Assisting truck drivers on their delivery routes Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service Perform other related duties and projects as assigned Must have a valid Class 1 drivers license in good standing and clear abstract Must be 18 years of age or older Previous experience in an operations/warehouse environment considered an asset, but not required Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role Starting wage is $22.79/hour with shift premiums and wage increases as per the collective agreement.
