Elevate your career as a 3D FX Lead at Stellar, contributing your artistic vision and technical expertise to a new Marvel Studios streaming series. Collaborate in a supportive environment focused on creativity and communication. At Stellar, we are assembling a dynamic team for an exciting Marvel project. As a 3D FX Lead, you will harness over five years of experience in effects simulations while guiding a talented group of artists. Your leadership will ensure the highest standards of quality in visual effects, enhancing both natural and supernatural environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide the 3D FX team toward effective problem solving
- Create technically demanding hero effects for cinematic scenes
- Collaborate with the FX Supervisor on task assignments
- Work with the Pipeline team to resolve high-level technical challenges
- Maintain a smooth workflow across departments
- 5+ years in creating film or game effects
- Proficient in Houdini, Maya, and Nuke Compositing
- Deep understanding of the 3D animation pipeline
- Legal eligibility to work in British Columbia
- Knowledge of Flow Production Tracking is a plus
