Lead the Black Jack Ski Club as a Head Coach for the Skier Development Program in Rossland, British Columbia. Bring energy and positivity while mentoring athletes and coaches every season.
As the Head Coach, you will report directly to the Director of Skier Development, overseeing the planning and execution of a comprehensive training program. Your role includes creating individualized athlete training plans and managing technical aspects of the club's programs for Racers, Jackrabbits, and Track Attack. Collaboration and communication with other coaches are vital to enhancing the program's offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored athlete training programs
- Support the Skier Development Director with technical advice
- Mentor fellow coaches and maintain communication with external coaches
- Organize camps, races, and events in collaboration with the team
- Provide leadership during races including logistics and coaching support
Requirements:
- NCCP Competition Coaching: Development certification preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in lead coaching roles
- Background in athlete development at provincial/national levels
- Eligible for a class 4 BC driver's license
