Director, Community Infrastructure

We are seeking a Director of Community Infrastructure to oversee, plan, and manage all aspects of housing, public works, and emergency management with a First Nation. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer and play a critical role in advancing the Nation's strategic goals, including community development and infrastructure enhancement.
Lead and manage infrastructure projects, including housing, public works, and emergency services.
Develop operational systems to ensure the quality, budgeting, and timeliness of infrastructure projects.
Participate in strategic planning sessions as part of the senior management team.
Conduct community land use planning and draft work plans for new projects.
Coordinate staff and community training programs related to housing and infrastructure.
Proven expertise in construction, development, maintenance processes, and asset/emergency management.
Familiarity with Federal and Provincial codes, regulations, and service agreements.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and applicable software tools.
Strong interpersonal relationship-building abilities.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle (with the ability to travel as needed).
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and evenings when necessary.
