Framestore in Montreal is hiring a Contract Compositor for a 1-2 month assignment. Integrate stunning visual elements and contribute to award-winning projects in the film industry. In this role, you will work closely with Visual Effects Supervisors and Lead Compositors to compose shots that combine technical excellence with creative artistry. Your primary focus will be on integrating live-action and computer graphics elements effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards upheld. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with supervisors on shot evaluations
- Integrate 2D and 3D elements into each shot
- Keep open communication regarding project timelines
- Take ownership of your tasks and follow feedback
- Maintain a strong focus on detail and composition
- Extensive knowledge and experience using Nuke
- Familiarity with stereo compositing techniques
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication
- Understanding of color space and lighting principles
