Role Profile Working remotely with a tight-knit group of sales and technical professionals, in this position you'll leverage your curiosity and technical acumen to develop accurate and persuasive responses to public and private RFPs. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an accelerating startup in a role that's crucial to the company's continued success. Key Responsibilies tiesDevelop and write compelling proposals in response to public and private RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation documents. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), sales teams, and technical staff to gather required information. Customize proposal content to align with client needs, industry standards, and cybersecurity best practices. Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements, formatting guidelines, and our branding standards. Edit and proofread proposals for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy. Manage proposal schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely submission. Maintain and update a proposal content library, including past responses, case studies, and technical solutions. Develop supporting materials such as executive summaries, capability statements, and presentations. Research and analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and client pain points to strengthen proposal strategies. Participate in proposal debriefs and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve the proposal development process. Candidate Profile As an ideal candidate, you're a technical writer with experience responding to RFPs. You're curious, technically savvy, quick to learn, and obsessed with details. Your writing is clear, accurate, correct and concise. You're energetic, autonomous, collegial and excited by the prospect of joining a dynamic and growing startup. Key Qualifications ationsPost-secondary education in a relevant field. 2+ years of proposal writing experience. Experience writing for a cybersecurity consulting firm is a significantasset. A technical writing background is anasset. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex technical information and create clear, concise, accurate proposals. Natural curiosity and ability tolearn. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to understand and interpret complex technical information. Agile and versatile – inclined to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong research and analytical skills. Skilled in document control and in the use of relevant software such as Word, Microsoft Publisher, Acrobat Pro. Experience in project management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
