Join Day & Ross as a Dispatcher and oversee delivery operations in Brampton, ON. This full-time role prioritizes smart coordination of pickups, deliveries, and customer satisfaction. In this critical position at Day & Ross, you will manage the dispatching of city units and ensure drivers adhere to schedules. Your experience in transportation will be key in coordinating logistics and monitoring performance while resolving issues collaboratively with drivers and customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries efficiently
- Monitor driver performance and report findings
- Enter and manage line haul orders accurately
- Review schedule to avoid missed freight
- Perform clerical duties related to compliance
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in dispatch or supervision
- Familiar with Excel, Word, and Truckmate
- Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
- Ability to work flexible hours
