About the Role As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in improving how we build our cutting-edge underwater robotics systems. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll collaborate with product design teams, help streamline production, and create tools and processes to make our manufacturing operations more efficient, safe, and scalable. This is a fully onsite position at our Deep Trekker headquarters, where you'll work closely with production, design, and operations teams in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Collaborate with the R&D team to develop the processes, tooling, and methods needed to bring new products and technologies into production Be hands-on during prototype and pilot builds to identify and solve manufacturing challenges Provide practical feedback to balance design performance with manufacturability and cost Develop and document standardized work instructions for production teams Lead process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality Support training and onboarding of production staff on new processes and tools Lead or assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues Take ownership of problems and be a resource the team can count on as we move from concept to production Who You Are Degree or diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or process engineering role (co-op experience counts) Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Thrives in situations with limited direction, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring structure and solutions to ambiguous challenges.
