Embark on a rewarding career as an Electrical Generation Systems Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces. Provide essential electrical power generation support for military operations worldwide. This role requires you to be part of the Construction Engineering team, maintaining and operating various electrical systems including mobile generators and uninterruptable power supplies. The job encompasses both direct technical work and collaborative engineering support. The training provided will help you excel in diverse military environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and operate engine prime movers
- Maintain and repair uninterruptable power systems
- Overhaul electrical generation equipment
- Produce mechanical and electrical drawings
- Conduct brazing and welding tasks
- Minimum educational requirement of Grade 10
- No specific work experience necessary
- Ability to complete physical training standards
- Potential for relocations if in Regular Force
- Willingness to engage in continued training
